This topic particularly touched me because it is so relevant to chiropractic care in
these troubling times. Marriage, finances, children, jobs, political worries, and the volume of
worldly troubles are enough reasons for pain in our bodies.
In our office, we see many patients who come to us with pain that is certainly caused
by stress. As you students probably have already learned, stress affects every part of our
health, and muscular skeletal pain is no different. We have all experienced that stress
headache, neck and shoulder tightness.
The question is how to reach out to these patients without overstepping legal or moral
guidelines. Some patients are more than willing to share the issues that have brought them
to our office; others will not or cannot. So, how do we deal with this problem?
We look forward to reading your input.
