The Evangelical Christian Voice in Chiropractic Since 1953 2012 CCA Annual Convention Group Excursion: Christian Chiropractors Association 2550 Stover, B-102 Fort Collins, CO  80525 Toll Free: 800.999.1970 Local: 970.482.1404 Fax: 970.482.1538   Thursday, June 7th, 2012 Late Afternoon “Snack” Cruise Lake Coeur d'Alene is located 2,128 feet above sea level and is 25 miles long with over 125 miles of shoreline and an average depth of 120 feet.  The name Coeur d'Alene is French for "heart of the awl," a name given to the Coeur d'Alene Indians by early French traders because of the natives sharp trading practices.  Two rivers feed the lake, the St. Joe and Coeur d'Alene, and the dam on the Spokane River controls the lake's water level. The pristine serenity of the lake and its surroundings has earned Lake Coeur d'Alene a reputation as one of the world's most beautiful sights. For our group excursion, we have chartered a boat for a two-hour scenic cruise where we can enjoy the views of local wildlife, secluded lake homes, and the world's only floating golf green.  A sandwich snack will be available as will a beverage for each person. We hope everyone will join us for a relaxing afternoon sail, enjoying the wonder of God's creation and the warm fellowship.  Welcome aboard!
