2025 CCA Annual Convention Group Activities:
The Evangelical Christian Voice in Chiropractic Since 1953
Thursday, September 11, 2025
Plans
are
to
combine
two
unique
local
highlights
for
our
Thursday
group
excursion.
First,
we
will
be
heading
to
the
Hershey
Farm
Restaurant
to
experience
Lancaster
County’s
best
Pennsylvania
Dutch
cuisine,
featuring
a
made-from-scratch
meal,
freshly
baked
homemade
goods,
and
explore
the
charming
shoppes.
Stroll
along
scenic
walking
trails
to
immerse
yourself
in
the
rich
heritage
and tranquility of Amish country.
After
our
time
at
Hershey
Farm,
we
will
head
over
to
enjoy
the
matinee
performance
of
“Noah”
at
the
famous
Sight
&
Sound
Theatre.
Experience
one
of
the
most
riveting
Bible
stories
of
the
Old
Testament
as
it
comes
to
life
with
magnificent
sets,
special
effects
and
many
live
animals
in
this
original
stage
production
presented by this unique theatre company!
Friday
evening,
we
will
enjoy
the
amazing
chalk
artistry
of
Elva
Hurst.
Elva
will
join
us
for
our
Auxiliary
Activity
night
and
present
us
with a private presentation of her unique artistry.
Elva
grew
up
in
a
large
conservative
Mennonite
family
in
Ephrata,
PA,
where
she
attended
a
small
“one-room”
Amish
and
Mennonite
school.
When
Elva
was
in
8th
grade,
her
teacher
noticed
her
artistic
talent
and
encouraged
her.
Her
interest
in
“chalk
talks”
began
when
she
attended
Bible
school.
It
was
there
she
started
using
this
technique
while
teaching
Sunday
school.
Word
of
her
talent
quickly
spread,
and
soon
she
was
asked
to
perform
chalk
talks for other gatherings.
